Brothers and Sister in our Lord Christ Jesus. My Hope and prayer is that thru the scriptures the Father will impart to you supernatural knowledge and wisdom in this hour of need. There are some who believe that they can increase their standing with God, in holiness thru the works of their hands and their own attempts to be holy. The Holy scriptures clearly state in Romans 3:10-12 There is no one righteous,
not even one;
11There is no one who understands;
no one who seeks God.
12All have turned away;
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.
13Their throats are open graves;
their tongues practice deceit;
the venom of vipers is on their lips;
14their mouths are full of cursing and of bitterness;
15their feet are swift to shed blood;
16ruin and misery lie in their wake;
17and the way of peace they have not known;
18there is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19Now we know that whatever the Law says, it says to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20Therefore no one will be justified in His sight by works of the Law. For the Law merely brings awareness of sin.
Jesus has imparted his righteousness to us when we believe on him. Read phillipians 3:22 Watch out for the dogs, watch out for the evil† workers, watch out for those who mutilate the flesh. 3 For we are the circumcision,† the ones who worship by the Spirit† of God, boast in Christ Jesus,† and do not put confidence in the flesh — 4 although I have reasons for confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he has grounds for confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5 circumcised the eighth day;† of the nation of Israel,† of the tribe of Benjamin,† a Hebrew born of Hebrews; regarding the law,† a Pharisee; 6 regarding zeal,† persecuting† the church; regarding the righteousness that is in the law,† blameless.†
7 But everything that was a gain to me, I have considered to be a loss because of Christ. 8 More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value† of knowing Christ† Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christ† 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law,† but one that is through faith in Christ† — the righteousness from God based on faith.† 10 My goal is to know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings,† being conformed to his death,† 11 assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead. 2 Corinth 5:20-2120Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God. 21God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. John 3:15 that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. we are all sinners saved by grace!! not by any thing we could do or say .Read Titus 3:5 …4But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, 5He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. 6This is the Spirit He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,… we can add absolutely nothing to our salvation. Ephesians 2:4 But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Now read about the legalist Pharisees in Mathew 2323 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. These are the ones who say come up here and be holy like us, who kill the spirits of men. They fell like they cannot attain the perfection and are condemned to death. They are afraid and doubt their salvation because of the demands put on them by men who fall way short on their own. Psalms 112Psalm 112 ►

10The wicked shall see it, and be grieved;
ש
he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away:
ת
the desire of the wicked shall perish. WOW !!! what an awesome word from our Lord ! King James Bible
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. we are instructed to live as he lived according to the commandments Christ gave us, to love God with all that we are and to love our fellow men. There is no higher place than the feet of Jesus . we cannot attain any stature by works or by knowledge or thru self righteousness’. It is simple , It is a gift by the washing of the blood of Jesus . 1 Corinthians 15:52 King James Version (KJV)
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.1 Corinthians 15:53 King James Version (KJV)
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. This is perfection in my humble opinion. God bless you all greatly in the Lord and Saviour Jesus , Son of the Living God,
